Chantal is a professional triathlete based in the UK. Chantal has a successful sporting background as part of the GB Junior Rowing Team with a full sweep of National and International titles before making the transition into triathlon.
Her motivation was to become one of the top athletes in rowing but unfortunately a rowing related back injury cut that dream short. After her recovery it wasn’t long before she was throwing herself into different sports to try and find one she could compete in at a high level and most importantly of all - enjoy! So along came triathlon and since she competed in her first race in 2011, she has not looked back.
In 2019 she decided to take the big step to becoming a full time professional athlete and placed her working career on hold to give the opportunity of a sporting career her full attention. 2019 was a steep learning curve as she adjusted to a complete focus on triathlon but she rapidly progressed in her results with her biggest achievement becoming the Women’s Champion of the Spirit Triathlon Series 2019 and reaching the podium at every race during the season.
In 2020 she is looking to take things up a whole new level to be on the top step of the podium and achieve her ambition to qualify and race among the best in the World in Championship races.
