Total Tri Training Raising Money for World Bicycle Relief

Over the last 8 months Total Tri Training have been taking part in an indoor cycling race league called the WRTL Team Time Trial, every week, thousands of riders from around the world race in a format designed to get riders to work together. It brings up to 8 riders together in a team who may be all over the country or world to work together virtually to race other teams. It has enabled many athletes, especially in TTT to compete as a group, build community, keep fit and above all have fun doing something they love, riding bikes.

The race on the 17th December has been dedicated to raising money for World Bicycle Relief 2020. This year marks a celebration of 15 years of changing people’s lives in 21 countries around the world by providing the infamous Buffalo Bikes. Total Tri Training will be helping to raise money and awareness to aid the purchase of Buffalo Bikes.

These invaluable bikes provide entrepreneurs, students, doctors and healthcare workers a means to cover the distances necessary to attend school, collect water or food, visit patients or even just to visit families.

The tireless work of WBR empowers communities to improve access to education, livelihoods, families and well-being which in turn breaks the cycle of poverty for years to come.

A single Buffalo Bike can make a world of difference to these communities and costs just £120.

Total Tri Training are getting involved to help raise money and support a cause so that bikes are available to as many people as possible in disadvantaged areas. Think of the lives that would change. We, along with scores of other cyclists across the world through the collective WRTL league will aim to raise $50,000 for this amazing cause.
